A professional guarantor for your tenant, with a deed you can verify and terms published in full.
- What the guarantee covers
- Unpaid rent, up to 12 months of rent or £60,000, whichever comes first. Damage to the property is not covered. The guarantee stays in force while the tenant's annual fee is paid.
- Your one obligation
- Tell us within 14 days of a missed payment. Late notification reduces what we pay, because the earlier we know, the more likely the arrears are recoverable.
- When we pay
- We pay nothing in the first two months of arrears. In that window we contact the tenant, offer a payment plan, and where the tenancy is failing we help them leave cooperatively. Payment to you begins from month two to three. We would rather tell you this plainly than have you discover it during a claim.
- Verifying a guarantee
- Every guarantee has a code and a page you can open to read the cover terms and confirm it is live. Ask your tenant for the code.
